California:It Support Technican

Provides technical support to end users to resolve computer software and hardware issues. Installs computer hardware, software and upgrades, and peripherals for employees. Provides routine maintenance, diagnostics and repair on PC software, hardware, network, and peripherals. May facilitate and conduct training sessions for company employees in the operation of software / hardware systems and provides assistance with telephone systems and instruments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides technology support by timely and accurately diagnosing, troubleshooting, and replacing internal computers and hardware.
• Installs computers, printers, peripherals, and software.
• Maintains inventory of all user systems, computer supplies, copier and printer supplies, and reviews of assets.
• Conducts training sessions and Brown Bag Lunches for employees on the operation of hardware and software systems.
• Supports the IT Manager with telephone and voice systems and instruments.
• Assists employees / end users with questions on product installation, usage and implementation while providing appropriate technical and /or product – related information.
• Responds to and investigates employee / end user inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, fax, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.
• Researches and resolves complaints.
• Effectively communicates employee issues and concerns to IT Manager.
• Supports the remote user issues associated with a national sales team including hardware and software set up and configuration.
• Provides desktop support for in-house users. Responds to the needs and questions of all network users; troubleshoots, diagnoses, and fixes hardware and / or software problems.
• Installs and configures desktop and laptop systems.
• Actively maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area. Makes sure that ALL safety rules are followed.
