Chicago: National Accounts Manager

Responsible for driving the profitable development of DS&S business through the designated Key Accounts.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, foster and maintain close working relationships at all levels of retail accounts.
• Utilizes a robust planning process to develop an annual account plan that establishes the key business objectives to be achieved in the account during the plan year.
• Maximize the annual profit delivery from the Account under his/her responsibility.
• Monitors competitor activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated, communicated, and executed.
• Identifies target accounts and opportunities via market scan data (IRI/Nielsen)
• Coordinates national account pricing & programming with local sales staff and distributors
• Has a solid grasp of developments in the business world – especially consumers & consumption.
• Develops strong relationships with customers, suppliers, colleagues, etc., based upon open commercial shared objectives
• Communicates and collaborates with DS&S Regional Teams to ensure programs agreed at HQ are executed at the outlet level.
• Motivate, communicate with and manage the Distributor Chain Managers.
• Help develop the DS&S Category Management Strategy.
