Florida: Regional Sales Manager

To further develop our leadership position within the United States’ growing New Zealand wine category, Oyster Bay Wines is rapidly expanding its State-side division and has a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager for the SouthEast.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The position of Regional Sales Manager will assist to drive Oyster Bay’s rapid distribution and sales growth throughout the USA, specifically holding responsibility for the South East region. This position requires a leader with a compelling style and extensive knowledge of all facets of the trade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The SouthEast Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Manager for Oyster Bay Wines USA and be responsible for:
• Developing, inspiring and motivating a small team of high performing sales professionals
• Building strong and productive business relationships with our distributor partners
• Achieving Business Plan sales and profitability objectives

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:
As a successful applicant you will possess a strong sales acumen gained within the Supplier side of the US wine or a relevant consumer goods industry and have a demonstrated ability to deliver world class outcomes in a highly competitive and commercially challenging environment.
In your role as a key advocate and business leader for Oyster Bay, you will ensure the trade connects with the brand on an emotional level and recognizes the outstanding business and partnership opportunities it provides.

A strong academic background, coupled with an equally impressive career track record (including high quality Supplier-side Management) is required to secure this outstanding opportunity to drive one of the New Zealand wine industry’s most successful global brands forward and share in the continued success of our high performing brand.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High quality Bachelor (mandatory) and Masters degrees (preferred)

CAREER EXPERIENCE:
• 7-10+ years of industry sales experience
• Experience managing multi-state distributor relationships from a Supplier perspective
• Experience leading, motivating and developing teams
• Broad array and experience of building productive working relationships within national and chain accounts

SKILLS AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Compelling, engaging personality and style
• Exceptional sales, commercial and leadership acumen
• Ability to contribute to business plan development
• Exposure to strategic brand development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel
