Brewing Team Leader

The successful candidate will have experience in the brewing industry and be expected to manage, lead, coach, motivate and facilitate the improvements of the Brewing Department Production workers across all three shifts in the Brewhouse, Fermenting Cellars or Finishing Cellars. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including all three shifts and weekends. Ensure the maximum efficiency of the operation while maintaining compliance with established safety, quality, material usage, sanitation, budget and scheduling guidelines in a World Class Manufacturing Strategy. Must be able to align various internal and external resources in order to ensure high quality and the achievement of Organizational goals. Must have an understanding of maintenance routines and practices. Must be able to analyze production reports and other business data to recognize, address adverse trends and act accordingly to achieve positive business results. Uphold strict compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Corporate Quality Standards (CQS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Equal Employment Opportunity Policies and Practices, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) regulations as well as existing Labor Agreements. Work to develop team member competencies relative to business initiatives as well as developing and achieving team goals which support plant objectives above. Must exhibit solid organization skills as well as possessing a high degree of self-management abilities that will adapt successfully to changing business needs. Successful candidate will be able to provide a wide range of multi-disciplined business and operational services while displaying integral personal, training, facilitation and overall verbal/written communication skills.

Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Chemical Engineering or related field) is highly preferred. Experience in the practical use of various pieces of Brewing Department equipment required.
