Belgium: Key Account Manager


Deliver NSV – volume – cash flow – customer business targets within dedicated accounts (Delhaize – Provera – Makro). Manage the relationship with key trade partners, defining commercial agreements, promotional plans and driving the innovation agenda. Distribution levels, visibility and persuasion programs are key levers to grow the business.

Top 3-5 accountabilties

. In order to achieve the channel plan (based on trade strategy and brand strategies), negotiate and implement the annual account plans for the dedicated customers. Hereby deliver terms, pricing and promotional investment, brand building, category development, logistics, innovation, premiumisation and customer growth levers.
. Deliver account KPI’s (NSV, volume growth, Gross margin, cash flow and share of customer business) & agreed P&L by developing customer partnerships characterised by trust and a joint business plan.
. Deliver strong risk & ops mgt by monitoring performance & customer profitability and undertaking corrective action when needed, this for the dedicated accounts.
. Enhance productivity by facilitating logistic and financial processes e.g. forecasting, EMS, cash collection and establishing close cooperation with DBSC teams and customers supply and finance managers.
