Metal Container Corporation, one of the Anheuser-Busch Companies, is one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of metal beverage containers. Formed in 1973, Metal Container Corp. produces more than 20 billion cans and 20 billion lids annually at its 11 can and lid manufacturing facilities across the United States. It supplies about 60 percent of Anheuser-Busch’s container & lid requirements and is a significant supplier to the U.S. soft-drink container market. Currently we are seeking a Process Superintendent in our Mira Loma, California can plant.

Requirements and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical support equipment and programming
  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Working knowledge in preventative maintenance programs
  • Ability to manage budget, drive cost savings and champion cost control initiatives
  • Excellent communication, planning, analyzing, influencing and organization skills
  • Strong ability to set, monitor, drive and meet goals
  • Willing to relocate for promotional opportunities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with safety program
  • Provide direction, coaching and counseling to production and maintenance Team Members
  • Work closely with the Management Team to maintain a safe and highly efficient manufacturing environment
  • Set standards and implement all maintenance in area of responsibility
  • Develop and revise Standard Operating Procedures and insure compliance
  • Supervise housekeeping and sanitation in area
  • Develop and manage a budget to meet goals
  • Drive process improvement initiatives
