The purpose of the role is to maximize execution of Diageo Brands programs within assigned retail and/or on-premise accounts.

Financial Responsibility is to advise necessity of TM budget spend on all POS /displays/shelf enhancing items/signage . Product knowledge shelf talkers/starbursts/theme items/tent cards/menu inserts.

Top accountabilities are to lead Diageo merchandising efforts in assigned retail and/or on-premise accounts for all major products, general distribution and promotions/programs. Develop effective business relationships with appropriate Retail Managers, On-premise Manager and Customer Management. Support Retail and /or On-premise personnel in the presentation of key programs and brands/sizes authorization to assigned accounts. Execute Diageo retail or on-premise objectives in assigned accounts. Provide Diageo management with specific, current information on competitive activity, market problems and merchandising opportunities with assigned l territory. Submit required reports promptly and accurately as directed by management. Formulate recommendations that will strengthen the sales and merchandising results of our brands. Improve retail positioning of Diageo brands in assigned retail accounts. Negotiate display space at the secondary tier retail locations (tbc). Apply added value – displays, shelf only upon instruction. Merchandising – POS, Backer cards, neck tags, shelf talkers, price advice. Face shelves/cold boxes/displays – correct all out of stock, raise order levels where necessary. Adherence to Diageo standards. Negotiate locations for optimum POS placement of Diageo promotional resources. Negotiate and execute optimum placement of DIAGEO brands on back bars of accounts in assigned territory.
