Nigeria: Business Development Manager

A key contributor to the success of the Guinness Nigeria PLC strategic plan is an effective & flexible field sales force demonstrating industry leadership in both volume driving & brand building activity.
Purpose of Role:
To support the sales dept. in the achievement of the departmental and Guinness Nigeria PLC objectives through the effective management of designated sales territory including implementation of all sales activities/programmes in the wholesale sales territory
Accountabilities:
- Achieve profitable volume sales target for the Territory
- Development of Distributor Business Plan for effective Distributor management
- Ensures Retail Redistribution Scheme is deployed to gain full return on our investment
- Work with Relationship managers to ensure DFS scheme is well run with no returned cheques
- Ensures contact with all Distributors and min top 5 wholesalers of each Distributor
- Works with Area Sales Manager, Training Dept and HR to build personal sales capability
- Manages Recommended Price Compliance in Distributors and wholesalers outlets
- Ensures all GN brands are available at all time in the Distributors/Wholesalers outlets.
