Oregon: Harvest Intern

Adelsheim Vineyard is one of the Willamette Valley’s most historic wineries and was founded over thirty years ago. At our modern winery, we currently produce approximately 45,000 cases of wine annually. Our production is predominantly Pinot noir and Pinot gris. We also produce smaller volumes of other cool-climate wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot blanc, and Auxerrois.

We are seeking enthusiastic, full-time seasonal interns to join our production staff for the 2009 harvest, starting in mid-September and ending in November. Based on experience, our interns will be assigned to a range of tasks including but not limited to the following:

• Running crush equipment
• Barrel work
• Cap management
• Juice/wine transfers
• Additions and inoculations
• Daily brix, temperature and pH measurement
• Equipment sanitization/cleaning
