Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively operate, maintain, and repair equipment in a glass manufacturing plant
• Operate welding machines and oxy/acecyltylene cutting rig; perform OXY/AC cutting and electrical ARC welding skills
• Maintain a preventive maintenance program for all equipment
• Blueprint reading and schematics
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, rebuild equipment and machinery, and inspect equipment and product to maintain quality standards
• Perform work in a manner consistent with plant safety, housekeeping standards, and quality checks
