Chief of AB-InBev in China resigns

The head of brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev in China has resigned, the world’s largest brewer said Wednesday.

YR Cheng resigned for personal reasons as head of Anheuser-Busch InBev China, according to a statement from the Belgium-based company. The company said Cheng worked for the brewer in China for more than 15 years.

Cheng led the company’s growth there and made strong contributions to the success of Budweiser and the Harbin brand there, according to the statement.

There was no word on a replacement.
