California: Marketing Director – Premium Bonds

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Increase value of brands in the marketplace through creation and execution of brand strategies that build brand image, create new products, and/or evolve existing product lines to fill trade/consumer needs in the luxury wine category. Contribute to the success of the company by demonstrating thought leadership and brand vision in achieving company goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Strategy Development and Innovation
- Marketing Thought Leader – drive long-term thinking for portfolio or segment focusing on broad business outcomes.
- Partner with Market Insights to drive research strategy for segment; positions segment / portfolio to capitalize on long-term trends and insights.
- Determine white space and recommend strategies to address; make the hard calls on underperforming brands and SKUs.
- Develop “big ideas” to accelerate long-term growth.
2. Business Management
- Actively seeks financial step-change opportunities; develops/gains approval for plans & executes.
