California: Midwest Regional Sales Manager

Premier Napa Valley winery seeks Mid-West Regional Sales Manager to establish and strengthen relationships with distributors and salespeople and key accounts for both on-premise and off-premise accounts. Applicant must have prior experience, preferably 10 years in wine sales and marketing and have already established strong relationships with wine distributors. Ideal candidate will be charismatic, entrepreneurial, presentable and energetic. Position calls for individual to be self-motivated, possess excellent and timely communication skills, and be a strong team player.
A passion for wine and people a plus.
Candidate must be willing to be traveling 80% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Maintain, strengthen and manage relationships with distributors and key accounts to meets sales goals and proper distribution in on-premise and off-premise accounts.
-Increase on-premise sales
-Manage allocations, shipments, POs and AR.
-Work the market with distributors sales force and individually
-Track depletions
-Attend trade tasting and consumer events
-Open new markets.
