Canada: Brand Manager Wines

Purpose of Role
To develop and execute Brand Plans that deliver the Annual Operating volume and value targets for the assigned Wine portfolio, with the guidance of the Category Director.

Key Tasks
In the context of the strategic goals of the portfolio, to develop, present and obtain approval for complete annual brand plans which are sound in the competitive context – both for Retail and On-premise (OP); Brief out and develop ATL/BTL programs; Ensure execution of all programs is in line with the overall brand plan; Assess and report back on the performance of each program; need to provide the team with a view of what’s working and not working; Track and present monthly/quarterly brand performance; Manage and track brand budgets; Create compelling documentation for Listing of new brands with the LCB’s/OP; Execute launch of new brands/integration of new agency brands as we acquire them; Liaise with all key support functions to ensure our brands/sku’s are available for purchase at the right place, right price and right time:
oPricing department
oSupply
oDC&E
Liaise with Consumer Planning at Diageo Canada/DC&E to obtain consumer insights to support development of our brands and activities – as appropriate.

Management Responsibility
Limited supervisory requirements – may include management of an Associate Brand Manager.

Complexity Of Role
The role will report into the Category Marketing Director, who reports into the VP of Consumer Marketing.
