Colorado: State Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Responsible for achieving distribution and growth objectives for Foster’s Wine Estates Americas brands by driving state-specific distributor execution, and through effective key account management. Responsible for one or more states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Distributor Management
· Drive execution of distributor strategy at local level through leadership and partnership with state-level distributor management
· Responsible for development and execution of state-level programming, promotion and pricing activities, ensuring consistency with broader regional objectives
· Act as the key liaison between state-level distributor leadership and senior zone management
· Meet state-level distribution, feature, and display objectives
· Grow distributor relationships, ensuring focus and execution against company objectives
· Ensure that distributor carries sufficient stock to properly service the market avoiding out-of-stocks, and ensure orders have sufficient lead times
· Conduct regular distributor business meetings
· Provide prompt response and action to distributor grievances, complaints and requests
Key Account Management
· Manage assigned accounts within all trade channels (on-premise; chains; key retail)
· Drive programming, promotion, and pricing execution for assigned accounts
· Provide value add training and education to staff within key accounts to support their business objectives.
