  • Develop strategies to grow all categories
  • Identify priority Category-Customer combinations and pro-actively apply full Category Management Programs (Definition-Role-Analysis-Strategy-Tactics-Review) to the identified opportunities
  • Deliver and evolve a full suite of block-o-grams and plan-o-grams by channel
  • Recommend pack-price strategies for BI brands
  • Recommend to Key Accounts and Field Sales, optimal ranging, space planning, merchandising and other tactical initiatives by channel
  • Generate simple and compelling selling stories for Field Sales personnel to win-at-the-point-of-sale/on-premise
  • Analyse competitor ranging, merchandising, pack-price, point-of-sale and display strategies and translate into recommended actions for BI.
  • Identify and quantify category opportunities for BI brands
  • Ensure that BI always uses best practice Category, Range and Space planning tools
  • Ensure BI has the best processes and IT solutions for ranging and merchandising and that they are utilised to the maximum effect.
