UK: Trade Marketing Manager

Principally you will take responsibility for the effective planning, control and execution of a number of key brand promotional activities across the European Travel retail business. By successfully managing customer, internal and third party supplier relationships, you will ensure flawless delivery of stunning and exciting retail environments to inspire our shoppers.
Across Europe you will take ownership for the continued management and development of a portfolio of key customer relationships.
Within the context of a flexible, responsive and motivated team, you will be expected to think creatively about maximising our potential for growth – entrepreneurial spirit is actively encouraged.
Given the varied and demanding working environment, you will also actively support colleagues where required to ensure that the team as a whole continually deliver world-class promotional activities.
The Candidate
The complexity and the essential need to successfully deliver in this challenging environment means we are looking for an experienced marketing professional with the requisite intelligence and efficiency to join us and quickly understand then execute key marketing projects.
Your background to date will likely be within the FMCG sector, and could include customer/trade marketing; account management with a creative slant or you may be a brand manager who is looking for more front line customer management. Your capability and attitude will hold more importance than your particular marketing experience to date.
Equally, we are looking for an individual with the inherent credibility and intellectual gravitas to effectively engage with customers at all levels, while concurrently having the commercial acumen to spot an opportunity.
