Install, troubleshoot, repair, fabricate and modify mechanical equipment.
- Use a wide variety of hand, power and machine tools to perform assignments.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment requiring the isolation of the
malfunction, disassembly of equipment and repair/replacement of bearings,
gears etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Perform non-certified welding, wiring and simple machining operations
incidental to repair and maintenance tasks.
- Parts and equipment procurement.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance and record keeping.
- General housekeeping procedures to include sweeping, machine and tool
cleaning.
- Operate forklift and heavy equipment.
- Other duties as needed.
