California: Regional Business Analyst

The Regional Business Analyst has 3 main areas that they focus on as the primary resource for the MillerCoors General Manager:
Pricing/Promotion analysis, Post-Event Analysis and Modeling.

  • Analyze price promotional performance for key holidays
  • Assess impact and effectiveness of regional pricing strategies
  • Evaluate level of pricing execution by distributors and retailers
  • Analyze follow-up responses to local competitor pricing initiatives
  • Development of the monthly volume forecasts and casuals
  • Conduct due to analysis on volume, profit performance, and share
  • Conduct business analysis on volume share, distribution, price performance, display performance, etc.
  • Conduct price modeling efforts in the local market, focusing on price elasticity and price gap management
  • Develop the appropriate Brand Ladder positioning & Pack Price Curves for the local markets, identifying opportunities to grow volume and/or profit
  • Conduct promotion event analysis, including promotional pass-through & channel bleed implications, and local promotional pricing event-level efficacy
  • Conduct periodic pricing strategy diagnostics & benchmarking, including competitive analysis, retail price surveys, local market interviews, etc.
  • Assess effectiveness of Miller/competitor frontline and promotional pricing decisions in local markets .
