
The Regional Business Analyst has 3 main areas that they focus on as the primary resource for the MillerCoors General Manager:
Pricing/Promotion analysis, Post-Event Analysis and Modeling.
Analyze price promotional performance for key holidays
Assess impact and effectiveness of regional pricing strategies
Evaluate level of pricing execution by distributors and retailers
Analyze follow-up responses to local competitor pricing initiatives
Development of the monthly volume forecasts and casuals
Conduct due to analysis on volume, profit performance, and share
Conduct business analysis on volume share, distribution, price performance, display performance, etc.
Conduct price modeling efforts in the local market, focusing on price elasticity and price gap management
Develop the appropriate Brand Ladder positioning & Pack Price Curves for the local markets, identifying opportunities to grow volume and/or profit
Conduct promotion event analysis, including promotional pass-through & channel bleed implications, and local promotional pricing event-level efficacy
Conduct periodic pricing strategy diagnostics & benchmarking, including competitive analysis, retail price surveys, local market interviews, etc.
Assess effectiveness of Miller/competitor frontline and promotional pricing decisions in local markets .
