Canada: Team Leader


Safely lead and engaged the activities of 20 hourly-unionized employees in the day-to-day operations of the Distillery.

Decision Making:

Daily staffing planning to optimize and attain the Production requirements,  Prioritizing tasks, Quality , Optimize equipment and efficiency.

Management Responsibility:
Leadership, Engagement, Integrity, Regulatory requirements: CARM, LTO, Willis. Ethics, Code of Business Conduct. Coaching

Complexity of role:
Compliance with the federal and provincial safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Primary focus of this role is internal based, however there is daily contacts with production planning personnel and the Maturing Department. Compliance with federal excise regulations. Compliance with federal and corporate standard dealing with transportation of dangerous goods. Developing a firm understanding of the entire distillation operation. Training employees. Resolving employee matters. Manage corporate programs, food safety, employee safety, GMPs and environmental. Responsible for Time & Attendance of employees for payroll purposes.
