Liverpool football club may drop head sponsor Carlsberg when their current agreement ends next year

Probably the greatest team in he world is falling out of love with probably the Greatest  Beer in the World. Probably.

English Premier League football club Liverpool is in the market for a new main sponsor, according to the team’s head of commercial activities, Ian Ayre.

Ayre has indicated to the club’s fans that it is considering finding a replacement for Carlsberg, after league rival Manchester United recently secured a four-year, $100 million sponsorship deal with US consultancy firm Aon.

Liverpool’s current agreement with Carlsberg is a three-year, 11 million dollar deal that expires in 2010.
