UK: Information Systems – HR Administrator


HRIS is an integral part of the HR Service Centre as it manages our HR systems and their configuration / content to support HR processes and improve the ways in which these operate. This includes management of the Diageo HR portal and it’s contents, SAP HR, Careers sites and eResourcing technology, Academy & Learning Management technology, Pilat Talent system technology, HR Service Centre technology and is achieved through working with IS and their external strategic partners. HRIS work closely with the other teams in the HR Service Centre and our networks of system super-users (amongst others) to support query resolution, training and finding simpler, faster ways to manage HR information and data. Finally, the team plays a key role in the delivery of projects to expand the technology footprint into new areas of HR. This includes the implementation of new technology to enable processes, to improve the quality of our solutions and to reduce complexity, costs and lead times.

Key accountabilities

Functional system support for end-user community including problem resolution, documentation, training and communications

Documents system maintenance procedures to a quality standard that are simple and easy for end-users to understand / follow.

Maintain data integrity of systems through data audits. Ensure that data maintenance processes are consistently applied by end-users

Perform weekly / monthly / annual system maintenance / data management procedures as specified in HRIS Business as Usual calendar

Implement minor system enhancements to HRIS systems (e.g. minor configuration changes), working with our strategic partners identified by IS as required.

Participate in system upgrades and larger-scale enhancement projects as required
