California: Customer Service Manager – Office Administrator


We are a small, family run winery set high in the western hills overlooking the Napa Valley. Warm customer relations are key to our business as is a sense of camaraderie among the small office staff. We are looking for a motivated, mature, congenial individual with a love of wine, a “customer service” personality, and excellent accounting skills to join our team. The ideal candidate is a superb self-starter who doesn’t mind the occasional ambiguity of a small office environment. S/he has excellent communication and follow-up skills and a burning desire to pitch in and do whatever’s necessary to keep the business running smoothly.

• Customer Service: telephone, email and fax communication with individual, retail and wholesale customers
• Sales: order entry, packing and shipping, monthly/quarterly/annual sales reports
• Compliance: monitor compliance with state purchase and shipping requirements
• Accounting: payroll, bill paying, cash deposit, credit card reconciliation, sales tax payments, payroll tax payments, monthly closing, yearly closing
• Marketing: occasional creation and maintenance of traditional and email marketing materials
• Website: basic updates and maintenance
