California: National Account Manager


The National Account Manager has five core responsibilities:

(1) Sell distribution, ads and programs to regional and national C-Store chains for their respective territory with the goals of improving the availability and visibility of Boston Beer Company products

(2) Communicate in a timely fashion their accounts calls, programs sold, opportunities and business environment of their accounts and COT to BBC management and peers

(3) Work with BBC personnel to help them manage their COT and/or C-Store.

(4) Communicate and work with the BBC distributor network to ensure that activities in their COT are executed to the expectations of BBC.

(5) Plan and manage resources to address COT opportunities.

Ingredients To Be A Successful Account Manager:

· 3-5 years of National Account Manager sales experience

· Ability to multi-task and set priorities.

· Effectively organizes or schedules people and tasks.

· Takes initiative to ensure goals are achieved.

· Goes beyond what is expected without being told.

· Demonstrates resourcefulness in getting things accomplished.

· Anticipates obstacles and develops contingency plans.

· Delivers projects and initiatives within budget requirements.

· Sets realistic SMAC goals that are relevant to department and company strategies.

· Focuses on the correct goals to drive the business.

· Bachelor’s Degree required. Computer literacy a must.

To Be Mixed With:

· Execute yearly business plan that focuses on opportunities and availability with the with BBC chains.

· Prepare and present trimester reviews for BBC management highlighting execution against plan, ytd results and current opportunities and plans.
