Canada: Brand Manager

Work with Director, Marketing – Canada to develop Brand Plans that reflect the individual needs of each brand across Canada, including; forecasting, performance analysis, strategies for pricing, promotion, and NPD

• Establish trade channel strategies and sales segmentation models for each assigned brand

• Responsible for the input of data into Supply’s web-based forecasting system (‘Manugistics’)

• Lead the annual promotional planning process (retail), allocating resources against key business opportunities to deliver sales goals and lead development of regional promotional calendars

• Lead the preparation and execution of national and regional promotions for respective brands

• Manage NPD process for respective brands, in close coordination with Director, Marketing – Canada

• Coordinate and manage information flow regarding products, packaging, promotions, and pricing

• Lead communication of packaging changes between Napa/Global marketing, Customers, and internal FWEC stakeholders including Sales, PR, and Legal departments

• Liaise with Director, Marketing – Canada regarding ‘Allocations’ process, as applicable

  • Source and develop specific POS materials to support programs and brands

• Budget management, including A&P spend tracking as applicable to respective brands

• Establish processes for planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing activities (ROI Analysis)

• Work with Napa based BM’s to ensure consistency of brand communication and strategies

• Build strong cross-functional relationships with key areas of the Canadian business; PR, Sales, Finance

  • Ensure all activity complies with local rules and guidelines
  • Ensure the on-time delivery of tools and resources

• Effectively manage the on-going activity and responsibilities of respective Mktg Coordinator.
