Halewood International -one of the UK’s largest suppliers of Wines & Spirits to off trade retailers has taken the potentially controversial step of opening up their own on-line store, targeting stay at home consumers with a wide range of leading branded beers, ciders and wines and spirits.
According to the Company Drinks2Home their new on-line store will offer “a great range of gift and presentation boxes, so you can choose to give someone special their favourite branded spirit, or buy a box and fill it with the tipple of your (or their) choice.
Lots of individual wines are available by the bottle, with Drinks2Home’s experts specialising in selecting enjoyable and interesting vintages which they can offer for between £4 and £10 a bottle – making them highly competitive with your local supermarket or off-licence.
Many pre-selected cases of wines, in 6’s or 12’s are also available with selections from individual countries or chosen by style or grape variety. These start from as little as £4.50 a bottle when bought as a case and represent excellent value.”
The new business will be headed up by industry veteran David Vaughan who has over 30 years buying experience with Boutinot, Greenalls and Wm Morrisons supermarkets.
