Illinois: Financial Analyst

Provide analytical support for the customer management team including planning support, performance tracking, issue/opportunity identification, forecasting and other information/analytical needs. Actively participate in the generation and submission of LE financials, Annual Operating plan. To complete analysis and make recommendations that will enable Clusters to follow overall brand pricing strategy, to maximize profits and to be competitive in the market place. Ensure implementation and management of pricing strategies at the state level.

· Solves a range of straightforward problems, analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.
· Interpret local market program results and competitive activity to make recommendations concerning future opportunities.
Financial Responsibility:
1. Assist the Cluster marketing director and market managers/local marketing managers to monitor and track local marketing budget of $8MM and local tactical budget of $10MM.
2. Assist Cluster management in evaluating the effectiveness of local market investments and future opportunities
3. Assist in development of YE accruals and manage, track and reconcile balances throughout the year, validating open balances with the DBSC.
4. Maintain general ledger, recording journal entries to accurately reflect business, tracking and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
5. Maintain price model and price filings in the cluster, ensuring clear understanding of deal structures and margin implications for Diageo, distributor partners and retailers.

Responsible for understanding and improving various sales and marketing processes, work streams and role responsibilities utilized to achieve cluster objectives
