Illinois: Regional Manager


Distributor Management:

• Responsible for development and execution of regional programming, promotion and pricing, ensuring consistency with broader zone objectives
• Develop and execute regional sales strategy through effective leadership and management of direct reports. Ensure focus on objectives and consistent approach to distributor management. Ultimately accountable for meeting region depletion and contribution objectives
• strategically manage the development and implementation of distributor and trade incentives / bonuses. Work with direct reports and distributor to ensure appropriate ROI for trade spend
Develop and execute strategies to launch new products or line extensions
• Act as the key liaison between distributor leadership and senior zone management
• Manage and develop distributor relationships, ensuring focus and execution against company objectives

  • Identify opportunities and monitor key issues for all trade channels

• Provide prompt response and action to distributor grievances, complaints and requests

Key Account Management:

• Manage account base within assigned region all trade channels (on-premise; chains; key retail)
• Develop and manage implementation of new distribution / volume increase strategies for key brands

  • Identify, grow and maintain key trade / account relationships

• Manage Regional merchandising programs, and set regional priorities. Ensure direct reports maintain appropriate presence in key markets
• Develop and drive programming, promotion, and pricing execution for account base
• Work with direct reports to ensure the delivery of value-add training and education to staff within key accounts to support their business objectives. Provide feedback to zone management and Sales leadership regarding programming needs.
