UK: HR Policy Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Policy Manager to join our HR Reward & Insight Team within Scottish & Newcastle’s Head Office at Broadway Park, Edinburgh. Scottish & Newcastle are the UK’s leading brewer; we are now part of the Heineken International Group, which will allow you to benefit from Heineken’s global experience, whilst being part of our local team here in Edinburgh. We produce a number of great brands – including Heineken, Foster’s, John Smith’s, Strongbow,  Kronenbourg 1664 and Bulmer’s.

Reporting to the Head of Reward & Insight, you will be responsible for developing and implementing leading edge people policies across the UK business.

Your key responsibilities will focus on :

  • Developing leading edge people policies that will support our values, behaviours, business goals and UK legal requirements.
  • To continually benchmark S&N UK’s employee policies against the market place and make recommendations to the business for change.
  • To ensure our UK People Managers are fully aware of our policies and employment law, providing advice and guidance on their effective application. This will include regular training and development activity.
  • To represent the UK on employee policy matters, liaising with Heineken Group HR and external bodies such as ACAS and Legal Firms.
