Belgium: Off Trade Sales Representative

Implement promotional plans, volume, distribution, visibility, persuasion, price and promotion targets in the off-trade outlets by managing the relationship with off trade outlets

Diageo Belgium & Netherlands HUB consists of 3 countries – Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg – creating relatively high complexity.

In BE and NL, we have offices (Brussels / Amsterdam) and IMC teams to deliver our business. We operate as one HUB team over the different markets.

The 3 countries/markets are significantly different with regards to:

· Market regulations on advertising, promotions…
· Excises
· External affairs environment/attitudes to alcohol
· Cultural influences, with consumers speaking different languages (mainly Dutch & French) in the different regions, with implications on advertising & promotional materials.
· Some key brands having different positions (strength, share…) within the market

While creating as much synergy as possible in all our programmes, these differences do influence the way of working and marketing our brands in the markets.

The 3 markets are characterised as ‘mature’ markets with high disposable income per capital.
