UK: Business Development Manager

Britvic has an exciting Business Development Manager role that will give you the opportunity to grow some of the UK’s leading FMCG brands including Pepsi, J20 and Robinsons. Responsible for a £multi-million portfolio account, with a Top 4 Grocery customer, this senior account management role will give you the responsibility for delivering Britvic’s operational and strategic agenda. This opportunity offers significant and exciting challenges with large rewards for those with the talent, drive and passion to build Britvic’s brands.

  • Account Management of a Top 4 Grocery customer
  • Management responsibility for 2 Customer Development Managers (NAM’s)
  • Developing a strategic plan for the account including the development of customer specific tactics
  • Creating, implementing and driving the Joint Business Plan (JBP)
  • Delivering profit and revenue targets for the account
  • Negotiating pricing, promotions and range as well as contracts, tenders and overrides which align to agreed strategies and tactics
  • Maintaining and developing customer contacts across the account in order to drive further opportunities
  • Forecasting customer volumes to assist in total business planning accuracy

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Graduate calibre, with well developed commercial awareness
  • Significant account experience gained within the Grocery channel, including man management
  • A strong track record of category leadership
  • Experience of negotiations at senior level
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
