Brothers Toffee Apple Flavour Ready For Halloween


Brothers Cider has launched a campaign of washroom poster adverts and is rolling out a point of sale kit positioning its Toffee Apple variety as ripe for Halloween.

The washroom posters will be installed in pubs with a high footfall of students. The humorous catchphrases featured on the posters play on the likelihood that students’ diets may not be as healthy as when they were living at home.

Licensees should contact their wholesaler to claim A2 posters and table talkers poking fun at the love-it-or-loathe-it flavour of toffee apple.

The moves are consistent with Brothers’ current rationale of concentrating marketing spend on above the line, consumer facing advertising. The company ran TV adverts earlier this summer.

“We have just had our best ever summer, though cider now has year round appeal and as a producer we are keen to support both the on-trade and our products throughout the year,” said Brothers managing director Matthew Showering.
