California: Channel Marketing Manager

Responsible for development and management of Channel Strategic Account planning & programming across brand portfolios and assigned Strategic Accounts.


• Take a proactive role in indentifying category opportunities to develop Strategic Account Plans that leverage the positioning of the CWUS brand portfolio within and across assigned Accounts.
• Drive the development and execution of account specific trade/consumer marketing programs & educational initiatives that support and leverage the strategic positioning of CWUS brands & growth of the category.
• Serve as primary contact / liaison between the CWUS Channel Marketing, Channel Strategic Account groups (VPs) and stakeholders (Marketing Director’s, Promotions, Division Promotions Managers (DPMs) and alliance/ tie-in partners (as applicable).
• Work closely with internal / external agencies and resources (Vine Design, Wine Academy, Strategic Insights) to develop and produce programs, collateral & presentation support materials in accordance with budgeted objectives to obtain maximum sales volume in relation to marketing and sales objectives
• Ensure programs and tactics are produced and delivered on budget & on time through the established programming planning process.
• Develop, negotiate and manage tie-in partner agreements/relationships for Channel programs.
• Collaborate with the key stake holders to assure timely execution of all programming.
• Manage day-to-day work flow & discussion with Channel Strategic Accounts teams regarding project milestones / updates to ensure efficient execution thereof.
• Work closely with CWUS Legal & Assistant Channel Marketing Manager to assure compliance of all programming, collateral and representative executions – All markets / all channels.

• Assure that brand standards & equities are maintained for each Account & CWUS brand throughout all mediums of communication: POS, collateral materials and events (for both internal & external partnerships).

• Manage account-specific non-price budgets and ensure programs meet spending parameters agreed to by key stakeholders (Brand Marketing, Sales, and Channel).
• Assess program effectiveness and viability via formal Program Evaluation (Pre, Post, ROI analysis), market survey & buyer meetings to appropriate accounts / regions.
• Providequarterly updates to Sr. Management and Brand teams regarding Non-Price budgets.
