New York: Account Manager

Responsible for achieving distribution and growth objectives for Foster’s Wine Estates Americas brands within a specific geographic area and channel of trade through effective distributor and key account management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Distributor Management

Generate incremental sales to hit sales goals within a geographic region and specific channels of trade

Execute new product launches to standards in on and off premise

Improve list and by the glass placements in on premise accounts and increase distribution levels, shelf space, and feature/display activity in retail accounts

Coordinate programming, promotion and pricing execution of distributor(s)

Motivate and create positive working relationships with distributor(s)

Ensure that distributors carry sufficient stock to properly service the market avoiding out-of-stocks, and ensure orders have sufficient lead times

Conduct regular distributor business meetings

Provide prompt response and action to distributor grievances, complaints and requests.
