Washington: Sales Manager


Vintage Point is a young, dynamic and successful venture founded in 2006 by three former officers from Foster’s Wine Estates. Our company is focused on bringing unique and high quality brands to market. We represent only wines and not spirits. In addition to our national sales agency strength, we offer our clients expertise in marketing, general management, operations and supply chain planning as well as financial management. We have a veteran sales team who are experts in the industry and in their market place. We are seeking an individual who can easily be assimilated into our culture and who can bring to the table the same veteran experience and success.

A qualified candidate will be someone with 8+ years of relevant sales experience in the wine industry. Our candidate must possess the following skill set:

  • Be a market and brand building leader in your territory

• Be able to create and execute competitive programs with your distributor, wholesaler and retail accounts

  • Be able to develop annual sales objectives for your region

• Oversee the relationship between your distributors and the progress towards brand development and sales goals

  • Create, sell, and implement channel and key account specific market plans
  • Evaluate distributor performance through quarterly business reviews
  • Educate key distributor personnel on the Vintage Point portfolio
  • Be able to manage local promotional dollars against an appropriate budget

• Be able to use analytical reporting tools (i.e. Trade Pulse) to understand current trends in your region and be able to take proactive action
• Be a “go getter”, self-starter, highly motivated toward individual and overall company success
• Proficient computer skills are a must
