Coca-Cola Amatil Renews Managing Director’s Contract

Australia’s Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) group managing director and executive director Terry Davis, has signed a new agreement extending his tenure at the company.

Mr Davis’ previous contract was due to end on November 30th, 2011, but has now entered into a new employment agreement based on a 12-month rolling contract.

Amatil chairman David Gonski said: “Securing an agreement which secures Terry’s services to continue beyond November 30th 2011 is in the best interests of CCA and its shareholders.”

“Mr Davis continues to perform impressively and maintains the enthusiasm and commitment to deliver continued success,” added Mr Gonski.

51-year-old Mr Davis joined CCA in November 2001 after 14 years in the global wine industry with most recent appointment as the managing director of Beringer Blass (the wine division of Foster’s Group).

Amatil Beverages changed its name to Coca-Cola Amatil and the Coca-Cola Company became CCA’s major shareholder in 1989 after acquiring further overseas Coca-Cola territories in Fiji and New Zealand the previous year.
