UK: Brand Manager


An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Marketing team for an experienced Brand Manager.

This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of Brand strategies and plans which drive consumer preference and top line business growth. In order for us to achieve this you will live and breathe the brand strategy, developing and delivering imaginative, commercially astute plans for growing sales and profits.

You will manage an A&P budget (size depending on brand) by planning, monitoring and redeploying investment to maximise business impact and using your skills and experience, you will identify opportunities to build market share via targeted campaigns.

Using your knowledge and experience in the marketplace, you will develop, drive and deliver a clear strategic direction for brand strategy, communication and priorities. Some of your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Utilise consumer and customer insight to lead clear brand strategy, priorities & proposition.
  • Deliver a programme of consumer communications which drive brand preference amongst the target audience.
  • Work with customer marketing execs to develop BTL platforms in line with strategic priorities.
  • Drive the identification and delivery of key brand performance drivers with Customer Marketing/Trading.
  • Work with customer marketing execs to communicate brand strategy/activity to key internal audiences.
  • Lead the implementation of an annual brand plan – to include volume, profit, share, distribution and pricing.
  • Provide detailed and clear monthly brand reports.
  • Where relevant, manage Brand Owner relationship
