Coca-Cola Appoints Two New Officers

Coca-Cola Company’s board of directors has announced the election of two new officers.

Ceree Eberly has become senior vice president and chief people officer whereas Chris Nolan has been appointed as vice president and treasurer.

Ms Eberly has worked at the company for 19 years and her new responsibilities include leading its global ‘people function’ (formerly titled human resources).

Previously manager of financial risk management and corporate finance, Mr Nolan has succeeded David Taggart, who resigned from the role of treasurer due to health reasons.

Mr Nolan joined the Coca-Cola Company in 1992 and has held a number of roles since that time. His election is effective immediately, whereas Ms Eberly’s elections will be effective from April 1st 2010, giving her time to move back to America.

Earlier this month, the company announced a greater commitment to helping tackle climate change through the production of new vending machines and coolers.
