BrewDog beers on sale in Norway

BrewDog’s beers are now on sale in a number of shops and bars across Norway.

Norwegians can buy the Scottish brewer’s products, including their eight per cent ABV Imperial Stout Rip Tide, from Vinmonoplet stores.

The six per cent ABV transatlantic-fusion pale ale Punk IPA is on sale in the 60 largest Vinmonoplet stores.

Bars in Oslo and Stavanger are also stocking BrewDog beers.

Last week the company announced that it was struggling with the space constraints of its current brewery as the business continues to expand and it waits for its new eco-building to be completed.

To alleviate this problem, BrewDog has started working with craft brewery De Proef in Belgium, which has already assisted a number of the European craft brewers including Mikkeller and Beer Here.

A statement from BrewDog said that De Proef’s “small scale, amazing equipment, absolute focus on quality and pedigree in craft beer” makes them the “ideal candidate” to provide assistance in brewing BrewDog’s beers.
