Coca-Cola in India has launched a new beverage under the Minute Maid brand umbrella.
The new Minute Maid Nimbu Fresh is a lemon juice-based drink that includes no added preservatives or colours.
Nimbu Fresh is available in two different sizes – on-the-go 400 ml PET and one litre PET, priced at 15 rupees and 40 rupees (£0.20 and £ 0.54) respectively.
The beverage is being launched in a phased manner and will be initially made available in the state of Tamil Nadu and will undergo a nationwide launch later in 2010.
T Krishnakumar, chief executive officer at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, said: “Innovation has always been the hallmark of Coca-Cola’s business strategy in India. The launch of Minute Maid Nimbu Fresh is the latest example.”
The Coca-Cola Company recently announce that its financial results for both the fourth quarter and entirety of 2009 are to be released on Tuesday, February 9th.
