Coca-Cola Fans Can Send Free Facebook Gifts

Coca-Cola has launched a promotion on its Live Positively Facebook page, allowing users of the social networking site to send virtual gifts to their friends and family.

With some of the gifts sent, one-dollar will be donated to Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Boys and Girls Clubs of America aims to enhance the development of children that lack adult care and supervision.

The clubs also offer safe places for these kids to learn and have fun through nationally-recognised programmes.

All gift-senders will receive a 20-second preview of the one of two new Coca-Cola adverts that are to debut during the Super Bowl broadcast next week (February 7th 2010).

“By using our Super Bowl ads to invite people to join us in supporting Boys and Girls Clubs, we’re going beyond simply airing great commercials on a terrific live television event,” said Katie Bayne, chief marketing officer of Coca-Cola North America.
