Largest Ever Seasonal Ale Range For Greene King
Greene King has unveiled its largest ever range of seasonal ales for the year ahead.
The Suffolk brewer will be offering up 14 brews – some new and some old – in addition to its 10 permanent ales.
In addition to a monthly seasonal ale, there will also be a Head Brewer’s Choice cask ale released each quarter.
February kicked off with Old Bob (5.1% abv), which is a spicy, fruity premium cask ale. Next up in March will be the crisp and bitter Hare Raiser (4.1% abv).
The inaugural Head Brewer’s Choice for 2010 is Flanker’s Tackle. “Flanker’s Tackle is a fantastic ale to begin the year with,” said head brewer John Bexon.
“It is golden in colour and uses four different varieties of hops to achieve a wonderful depth of flavour and fruity aroma. At 4.3% it’s a deliciously quaffable cask beer.”
