Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S A has appointed Christos Ioannou as a member of its board of directors.
Mr Ioannou is stepping in to replace Samir Toubassy, who retired from the board in 2009.
He has also been nominated to succeed Antonio D’Amato as a member of the audit committee of the company.
Mr Ioannou currently serves on the board of directors of J&P (Overseas) and J&P-AVAX. The J&P Group is an international building, civil and electromechanical engineering enterprise and has a strong involvement in the oil, gas and industrial sector.
He graduated from Cornell University in 1994 and he holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
In addition, Mr Ioannou holds directorships in many other companies, including Food Plus and Aegean Airlines.
