Connecticut: Cellar Manager Sonoma

The position is responsible for leadership of all aspects related to management of the cellar to include employee mng, budget mng, sanitation, supplies and equipment ordering and maintenance, environmental health and safety. Must be familiar with cellar equipment and its use, have strong working knowledge of all common cellar practices and protocols. Supports production in managing the wine processing operations at Sonoma ensuring SOPs are maintained and evolved to meet new winemaking standards. Oversee daily cellar and wine processing operations, laboratory quality control, WIPS database and recordkeeping. Expected to maintain quality and value of wines in tanks. Monitors daily operations in the Production Lab ensuring that the wine received is analyzed & bottled within specification and on schedule.
