Tennent’s Urges Scottish musicians To enter T in the Park competition

Tennent’s has made its last appeal for Scottish musicians to enter its T Break 2010 competition, which will see the winners play alongside headliners Muse, Eminem and Kasabian on the T Break Stage at T in the Park 2010.

Bands and solo artists in Scotland who want to enter should fill in an online application form and attach a link to their MySpace music page so that the judges can listen to their original tracks.

Tennent’s, which is Scotland’s largest brewer, has been running the competition each year since 1996.

The deadline for entries this year is this Friday (April 16th).

Back in January, Tennent’s backed the Scottish government’s proposal for minimum pricing for alcohol.

In a statement, Mike Lees, managing director of Tennent Caledonian Breweries, said: “Tennent’s recognises its duty to act responsibly and has always encouraged people to drink responsibly.

“Tennent’s has a strong commitment to Scotland and welcomes sensible moves to ensure alcohol is enjoyed appropriately.”
