Vedett Plans ‘Top-End’ Draught Launch

Belgian lager Vedett is hoping a move into draught will enable it to take on the might of Peroni and Staropramen.

Since its UK launch four years ago, the imported premium lager, from the Duvel Moortgat stable, has only been available in bottles.

Initially the draught version will be sold in all 13 Living Room venues across the UK and London’s Bar Music Hall, but it will be rolled out across “top-end trade outlets” from the end of April.

“The decision to launch Vedett draught means we are now able to bring the experience to a much wider audience and grow our position in the premium lager market,” said UK general manager Matthew Wilson.
