The responsibilities of this role are grouped into 4 main areas of focus.
1. Owner of all National and Regional Promotional and Marketing Activity: The specific goal of this individual will be to improve ROI, efficiencies and effectiveness of all in-store activity:

Develop a deep interface with the Sales Network: The specific goal of this individual will be to gain a deep and thorough understanding of the major sources of volume and what it takes to grow our business with our top trade constituents in order to influence our Selling and Go-To-Market Strategy.
3. Driving Brand Strategy into Customer Plans, Channel Plans, and Developing Market Plans: The specific goal of this individual will be to represent the Marketing Team across these various different cross-functional sub-teams to ensure consistency with the Brand vision and overall strategy.
4. Strategic leadership in defining the future of trade marketing: The specific goal of this individual will be to gain a deeper understanding of key levers that we can use to drive volume at the trade level. This includes understanding the role of Shopper Marketing; and Driving the Category Management Selling Philosophy with the Director of Sales Planning.
