Liviko, one of Estonia's largest alcohol producers has signed an agreement with Bacardi-Martini - one of the world's biggest alcohol producers - to distribute world-known Bacardi-Martini brands in Latvia according to Latvian media reports.
Director Liviko Urmas Silman commented: "One of our previous goals was to expand our range through the addition of major international brands. Today, despite the recession and the drop in demand for premium alcohol, Bacardi-Martini drinks are still well-recognizable to consumers and remain in demand." [...more]
14 December, 2009 Bacardi-Martini India has launched Mixx Store, an online music and video download store powered by Hungama.com, at MixBacardi.com that aims to promote the Bacardi white rum brand among the youth. The online store allows users to download music, videos, ringtones, mobile wallpapers at Rs 10 a piece or Rs 99 for unlimited downloads for a month, both on PCs and mobile handsets.
Over time, Bacardi hopes to build a community around the brand on the website. The company is also rolling out a number of schemes and offerings to promote the brand and the site, such as contests to participate in events both in India and abroad, coupons on purchase of the brand to download music free of cost, and invites to parties.

An email promoting a Martini event has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority after a recipient objected it implied alcohol could enhance attractiveness.
The email, headed: "Stay beautiful with Martini", advertised an event at a Pitcher and Piano bar.
Pitcher & Piano jointly responded to the complaint with Bacardi-Martini, explaining that the email promoted an evening of pampering and sampling beauty products while trying the new Martini Rosato drink. [...more]
New Delhi, Global alcohol beverages major Bacardi Martini today announced the launch of the 200-year old international premium vodka brand Eristoff in India.
The product is priced at Rs 450 for 750ml and is available in leading licensed spirit stores, among others.

Bacardi-Martini plans to launch two varieties of Eristoff into the UK, following the brand’s success in France, Austria and Portugal where the company has managed to rack up sales of 1.5 million cases annually.
The 37.5% abv high-quality premium vodka — made from 100% pure wheat and triple distilled and charcoal filtered — originates from Georgia and was created in 1806.
It is available as Eristoff Original premium vodka and also Eristoff Black, which is a wild berry flavoured variant.
