New 4% Abv Beer For Budweiser

Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) has unveiled what it is calling its "most important business action in 2010"- a new variant of Budweiser. The new beer is called Budweiser Brew No. 66 or "Bud 66" for short and at 4% ABV has been designed to tap into the new "standard premium" market, which includes brands like Beck's Vier and Stella Artois 4%. The beer is aimed at consumers in their early 20s who are looking for a refreshing beer and would draw new consumers into the category, said AB InBev UK president Stuart MacFarlane. [...more]

The SELECT 55 beer is made with caramel malts and a blend of domestic and imported hops and has 1.9 grams of carbohydrates. The company is using all marketing strategies to make the beer popular - a website, www.select55.com has been introduced to promote the beer. Budweiser Clydesdales Ad will Appear During Sunday’s Super Bowl

After several days of indecision and a plea for public input, Anheuser-Busch said today it plans to include a Budweiser Clydesdales spot in its five minutes of advertising during this Sunday's Super Bowl. The spot is 60 seconds long and will appear during the game's fourth quarter, according to A-B. Man Utd Seeks New Beer Sponsor

Manchester United is reportedly seeking a new beer sponsor when its deal with AB-InBev's Budweiser runs out. According to The Telegraph, the English Champions have sent out branded footballs to all major brewers as part of a promotional package. The deal with Budwesier has been in place since 2002 but is set to finish at the end of the season.
