Molson Coors has become the first brewer to commit to achieving a more sustainable use of resources throughout the whole supply chain.
The global brewer is the first brewer to be a founding signatory of WRAP's Courtauld Commitment 2.
Part one of the agreement aimed to reduce the weight of packaging and waste ending up in household bins.

The FRS Company, a developer and distributor of FRS Healthy Energy products, announced today that Carl Sweat, a former Coca-Cola, North America executive, has been named Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Sweat brings significant experience in beverage operations, brand creation, marketing, and retail sales to his new role. Prior to joining FRS, he served as Senior Vice President at Starbucks, overseeing the Global Beverage unit. Previously, Mr. Sweat spent 22 years at Coca-Cola, North America, most recently serving as the President and General Manager of FUZE Beverage LLC, where he grew the value of the enterprise and significantly increased profitability. During his tenure with the company, Mr. Sweat held various general management and brand marketing positions, helping to launch Coke Zero, one of the company's most successful product launches in the last 10 years, and overseeing brand management and marketing for brands such as Coca-Cola Classic and Sprite.

The 0 Inhibitions campaign sees Greene appear naked but for strategically placed body paint with bottles of the zero calorie beverages in her hand.
New flavours of SoBe Lifewater included in the campaign are Cherimoya Punch and Strawberry Dragonfruit.
Older, existing flavours that contain zero calories include Acai Fruit Punch, Mango Melon, Black and Blue Berry and Fuji Apple Pear.
Greene is to appear in an up and coming edition of Sports Illustrated Swimwear Edition, which will go on sale from February 9th.

Anheuser-Busch is providing 2,200 cases - or approximately 53,000 cans of drinking water - for use by Kentucky residents affected by water line breaks that have left thousands of residents in Perry County without water.
A truckload of water has been shipped from Cartersville, Ga., and will arrive tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. to a warehouse at 2751 Christopher Road in Hazard, Ky. The Salvation Army and local emergency services will distribute the water to residents in Kentucky affected by the water outage. [...more]
Drinks retailer First Quench, which owns several brands such as Threshers, Bottoms Up and Victoria Wine, will close a further 391 stores and axe another 2140 jobs, administrators announced on Friday in a statement.
KPMG had already announced the closure of 373 shops earlier this month, and plans for another 381 closures were unveiled last week, after First Quench announced it was entering administration in October.
First Quench has indeed been severely hit by the current downturn.
